Phlebotomist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting blood and other specimens from patients for laboratory testing in a safe, accurate, and professional manner. A commitment to patient care, safety, and confidentiality is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood specimens via venipuncture, fingerstick, or heel stick (as applicable).
• Label and handle specimens correctly to ensure accurate testing and tracking.
• Verify patient identity and ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Maintain specimen integrity by following proper collection, transportation, and processing procedures.
• Prepare blood collection equipment and supplies as needed.
• Accurately enter patient and specimen data into the system.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace following infection control procedures.
• Adhere to all hospital, lab, and regulatory protocols, including HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with inventory management of phlebotomy supplies.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, particularly those who may be anxious or fearful.
• Participate in training and continuing education as required.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program.
• Certification (preferred): Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting (preferred).
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work flexible shifts, including weekends or holidays if required.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
