Pharmacy Sales Assistant

We seek a Pharmacy staff to ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medications, provide patient counseling, and manage pharmacy operations in compliance with Indian regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and legally.
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and adherence.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, including stock control and expiry checks.
• Ensure strict adherence to Drugs & Cosmetics Act and PCI guidelines.
• Collaborate with sales staff and uphold professional standards.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a retail pharmacy preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English (Marwari/Rajasthani is a strong plus).
• Detail-oriented with strong ethics and patient-centric approach.

A Pharmacy Assistant/Technician: This role typically involves supporting the pharmacist with non-dispensing duties, such as:

• Stocking shelves
• Managing inventory
• Cleaning and organizing the store
• Handling cash and processing sales (for OTC products)
• Customer service (general inquiries, locating products)
• Maintaining records (non-dispensing related)
• Helping with billing. They cannot legally interpret prescriptions, dispense prescription drugs, or counsel patients on medication use in a manner that would be considered the role of a pharmacist.
