Job Description

Role: Pharmacy Manager

Location:

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee
day-to-day operations
of the hospital pharmacy, ensuring smooth workflow across inpatient,Admission, and emergency areas.
Ensure
accurate dispensing
of medicines as per prescriptions and hospital protocols.
Manage and monitor
inventory levels
, including procurement, stock rotation, and expiry control.
Coordinate with
medical, nursing, and administrative teams
to support clinical needs and ensure timely medication availability.
Implement and monitor
regulatory compliance
with hospital and government pharmacy standards (NABH, FDA, etc.).
Lead, train, and motivate pharmacy staff to maintain high standards of service and patient safety.
Analyze usage trends, control pilferage, and ensure
cost-effective pharmacy management.
Conduct
internal audits
and ensure adherence to
drug storage, labeling, and documentation protocols.
Drive
quality improvement initiatives
and support digitalization of pharmacy operations (EMR/ERP systems).
