Pharmacist

- Checking prescriptions to ensure that they are appropriate and safe for the individual patient.

- Correct dispensing through right labeling and information to the patients.

- Providing information/education regarding Drug Interaction & food interaction to patient and their relatives.

- Collecting correct amount of cash and tallying with system.

- Communicating with consultant for brand and substitution related issues.

- Assisting Pharmacy In charge with all activities like purchase requisition, cash return of drugs, receiving drugs at counter, preparing order note, taking out expiry drugs, maintaining stock, stock taking, preparing purchase orders, rack arrangements, maintaining refrigerator medicine, maintaining required documentation & reprots in the department etc.

IP Pharmacy

- Receiving IP medication order and dispensing in accordance after verifying expiry, quantity, quality etc.

- IP returns after verifying correct physical quantity and quality.

- Communicating with consultants for brand and substitution related issues.

- Maintaining narcotic stock and narcotic policy in the IP pharmacy department.

- Assisting Pharmacy In charge with all activities like purchase requisition, cash return of drugs, receiving drugs at counter, taking out expiry drugs, maintaining stock, stock taking, preparing purchase orders, rack arrangements, maintaining refrigerator medicine, maintaining required documentation & reports in the department etc.

- Provide information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage.

- Plan, implement, or maintain procedures for mixing, packaging, or labeling pharmaceuticals, according to policy and legal requirements, to ensure quality, security, and proper disposal.

- Ensuring medicines are stored appropriately and securely.

- Analyze prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance and to prevent excessive usage or harmful interactions
