Pharmacist

To provision, purchase, store and dispense drugs, medicines and pharmaceutical sundry items.

•

To ensure the potency and quality of drugs during their storage in the Pharmacy.

•

To dispense prescriptions to outpatients and inpatients, making preparations to be used in dispensing prescriptions ensuring quality control.

•

To maintain information regarding quality, cost and sources of supply of all drugs, chemicals and other items for information of medical, nursing and other staff.

•

To investigate pharmaceutical problems arising in the use of medications.

•

To ensure adherence to the laws, acts, rules and regulations applicable to pharmacies and dispensing.

•

To promote economy in the use of medicines and establishing accounting procedures for pharmacy charges and supplies.

•

To maintain the approved stock of antidotes and other emergency drugs.

•

To inspect all pharmaceutical supplies at user points.

•

To specify all drugs, chemicals, antibiotics, biologicals and pharmaceutical preparations.

•

To effectively handle all pharmacy billing related activities.

•

To receive payments and reconcile all commercial transactions with the accounts section.

•

To establish a system of records and book keeping in cooperation with the accounting department for patient charges and for control.

•

To prepare periodic reports and returns on the utilization of pharmacy services.

•

To create a culture of teamwork, help co-workers, and develop positive and pleasant atmosphere at the Pharmacy

To systematically train new customer care executives, mentor new trainees on responsibility and performance driven organization culture, report to management on training progress.

•

To diligently perform any other work as assigned from time-to-time by management.

•

To show eagerness to learn and perform, excel in the assigned duties, take more responsibilities, and grow with the organization.
