Job Description

We need a Pharmacist with D.Pharm/B.Pharm to manage our pharmacy Roles and Responsibilities 1. Dispensing Medications: Filling prescriptions accurately and ensuring proper labeling and packaging of medications. Compounding medications when necessary, including preparing medications for specific patient needs. Properly storing and managing medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with regulations. 2. Patient Counseling and Education: Providing patients with information about their medications, including dosages, administration instructions, potential side effects, and drug interactions. Advising patients on over-the-counter medications and other self-care options. Counseling patients on how to manage chronic conditions and other health concerns. 3. Medication Safety and Quality: Verifying medication orders to ensure accuracy and prevent errors. Ensuring medications are dispensed and stored in a safe and secure manner. Participating in quality assurance programs to improve medication safety and quality. 4. Other Important Responsibilities: Conducting health screenings, such as blood pressure checks and vaccinations. Managing pharmacy inventory and ordering medications. Staying up-to-date on new medications and treatments. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
