India Eye Hospital in Greater Noida is a social enterprise committed to providing high-quality, affordable, and high-volume eye care. Currently, we operate a modern facility located inside Ansal Plaza Mall, next to Pari Chowk Metro Station in Greater Noida. Our current facility is NABH-accredited for eye care, ensuring adherence to recognized standards of safety and quality in healthcare delivery

To further expand access to care, especially in rural communities, India Eye Hospital operates Vision Centers in Surajpur and Rabupura. We plan to add eight more VCs within the next year. These centers provide essential eye care services closer to where people live.

India Eye Hospital is committed to eliminating unnecessary blindness in Uttar Pradesh by establishing a network of modern eye hospitals and research centers across the state. The hospital is guided by Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital, Darya Ganj, Delhi.

Operating in Greater Noida since 2023, we have already performed 1600 cataract surgeries using Phaco. We plan to conduct 2,800 cataract surgeries in the next year, using Phaco techniques.

Over the next three years, we are setting up a Super Specialty Eye Hospital with 15 Operating Theaters and 12 Clinics in Greater Noida, Knowledge Park 3 on a seven-acre plot. We are being guided by LAICO – Aravind Eye Care System, Dr. Shroff’s Eye Hospital, Darya Ganj, Delhi and leading eye surgeons from USA.

Job Description: The pharmacist will ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medications while providing essential guidance to patients and supporting quality eye care services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pharmacy Operations: Oversee daily operations of the hospital pharmacy, including dispensing medicines, inventory management, and maintaining pharmacy records.
• Prescription Verification: Accurately review and interpret prescriptions from ophthalmologists and other clinicians, ensuring correct medications are dispensed to patients.
• Patient Counseling: Guide patients and their families on the safe and effective use of prescribed medications, including dosages, side effects, drug interactions, and storage instructions.
• Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor and manage stock levels, order supplies, check for expired items, and ensure all medicines are properly stored as per standards.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements related to pharmacy practice, including maintaining required documentation and records.
• Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and hospital staff to ensure smooth flow of information related to patient care and medication therapy.
• Quality Assurance: Participate in audits to ensure the quality, safety, and efficacy of pharmacy services. Implement protocols to minimize dispensing errors.
• Patient Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all medications dispensed and patient interactions.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with current pharmaceutical trends, new drugs, and best practices relevant to eye care and allied health.

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy (B.Pharma) from a recognized institution.
• Valid Pharmacist license/registration as required under law.
• 1–3 years' experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy; prior experience in an eye hospital is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ethical standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation: ₹18,000 to ₹25,000 per month
