Patient Counseling:Providing information and advice on medications, including dosages, side effects, and proper administration.
Inventory Management:Maintaining a well-organized and stocked pharmacy, ensuring proper storage and handling of medications.
Record Keeping:Maintaining accurate patient records, pharmacy files, and other required documentation.
Compliance:Adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
Collaboration:Working with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and address potential drug interactions.
Clinical Services:Performing tasks like temperature measurements, injections (where permitted), and other medical services.
Supervision:Overseeing the work of pharmacy technicians and other staff.
Drug Development:In some roles, pharmacists may be involved in research and development of new medications.
