Job Summary: The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications as per prescriptions, maintaining accurate records, advising patients on medication use, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Dispense prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications accurately. Review prescriptions for appropriateness, dosage, interactions, and allergies. Provide information and counseling to patients on correct medication usage. Maintain inventory of medicines, placing orders and checking for expiry. Store medicines in appropriate conditions (temperature, humidity, etc.). Ensure proper documentation of sales and billing. Maintain pharmacy licenses and ensure compliance with drug laws and regulations. Coordinate with doctors and nurses for medication clarification and supply. Manage controlled substances with strict documentation and security. Monitor and report adverse drug reactions, if any. Qualifications & Skills: Education: D. Pharm / B. Pharm / M. Pharm from a recognized institution. License: Valid State Pharmacy Council Registration is mandatory. Experience: 0–3 years (freshers can be considered). Sound knowledge of pharmacology and drug interactions. Good communication and customer service skills. Basic computer skills for billing and inventory software. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: Up to ₹16,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
