Pharmacist

Job description

Responsible for dispensing prescription medications, providing drug-related advice to patients, and ensuring the safe and effective use of medication. This role involves managing prescriptions, advising on over-the-counter medications, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Counsel patients on the use of prescription and over-the-counter medications.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and legality.
• Maintain patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D).
• Valid Karnataka pharmacist license is mandatory (KSPC)
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy.
