The Lead Data Management position entails the responsibility of overseeing and preserving the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of the master data within all business units of the organization. This role requires the development of data management strategies, implementation of data governance practices, and leading the implementation of master Data Management tools on an SAP S4 HANA platform. Additionally, the incumbent will be tasked with ensuring the seamless integration of data management systems. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in SAP S4 HANA, data management, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to spearhead data projects within a dynamic work environment. The Lead Data Management will report to the Sr Director, Business Transformation and Technology and will not have any direct reports. Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field; however, a Master's degree is highly preferred. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in data management, with a specific focus on master data management. Proficiency in data governance, data quality, and data integration best practices is essential. The ability to draft policies and procedures to establish data standards and operational models is crucial. Strong project management skills are required, and experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry is advantageous, along with an understanding of relevant industry and regional data regulations and standards. Moreover, experience in handling global cross-functional projects across diverse geographical locations, along with the flexibility to operate in different time zones, is beneficial. Proficiency in data management tools like SAP MDM, Informatics, or similar software is necessary. Knowledge of SAP data elements is mandatory, while familiarity with data platforms such as Azure and AWS is desirable.,
