Job Responsibilities: Dispense prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications accurately as per the doctors prescription. Provide expert guidance and counseling to customers regarding medicines, dosage, side effects, and health-related queries. Verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy, dosage correctness, and potential drug interactions. Ensure proper storage of medicines as per regulatory guidelines. Maintain stock records, check expiry dates, and prevent stock shortages by timely restocking. Generate invoices and process sales using pharmacy management software. Ensure adherence to pharmacy regulations and company policies, including maintaining required documentation. Educate patients on proper medication use, precautions, and lifestyle changes to improve treatment outcomes. Work closely with doctors, hospitals, and medical representatives to stay updated on new medicines and healthcare trends. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy to create a professional and welcoming environment. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure high customer satisfaction. Manage emergency and life-saving drugs with special care. Requirements: Education: Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm). Experience: 0-5 years of experience in a retail pharmacy (Freshers can also apply). License: Valid Pharmacist Registration Certificate from the West Bengal Pharmacy Council. Good communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude. Basic computer knowledge for billing, inventory management, and sales recording. Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
