PGT Physical Education teacher (Female)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate Physical Education classes for Students. Develop curriculum-aligned lesson plans that include theoretical and practical components of physical education. Encourage students' participation in physical activities and inter-school sports competitions. Organize and supervise school sporting events, fitness assessments, and extracurricular sports clubs. Maintain discipline and ensure the safety and well-being of students during physical activities. Identify and nurture students with athletic potential for higher-level competitions. Maintain student records, assessments, and progress reports. Promote awareness of physical fitness, health, and wellness across the school. Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Department. Qualifications and Skills: Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) from a recognized university. Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the PGT level in a reputed school. Certifications: Additional certifications in fitness training, yoga, or specialized sports coaching will be an advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passionate about sports and student development. Ability to motivate students and lead by example.
