Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and comprehensive History lessons for Middle and Senior school students (Classes VIXII), aligned with CBSE curriculum.
Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of historical events and contexts.
Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and conduct assessments in line with academic standards.
Incorporate innovative teaching strategies including project-based learning, debates, and use of multimedia.
Prepare students for board examinations and inter-school competitions.
Maintain records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and school management.
Participate in curriculum development, department meetings, and school events.
Uphold classroom discipline and encourage a culture of respect, inquiry, and academic excellence.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Postgraduate degree in History with B.Ed. (Mandatory).
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE school.
Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
Familiarity with digital teaching tools (e.g., smart boards, Google Classroom).
Passion for teaching and mentoring adolescents.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Enthusiastic, creative, and a team player.
