PGT ENGLISH

As a PGT English teacher, your primary role is to teach English to senior students (Classes 9 to 12) following the ICSE/ISC curriculum. You will be instrumental in enhancing students" proficiency in English language and literature, preparing them for board exams while nurturing a deeper appreciation of literature and effective communication skills. Ensuring an English-speaking environment both in the classroom and campus is of utmost importance for a PGT English teacher. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, prepare, and deliver English lessons for Classes 9 to 12 based on the ICSE/ISC syllabus. - Teach various English topics such as language, literature, and composition using diverse and engaging teaching methodologies. - Provide comprehensive explanations of literary works, promoting critical analysis and discussions among students. - Regularly evaluate and track students" academic progress through assignments, exams, and projects. - Offer personalized assistance and guidance to students, particularly in their preparation for board examinations. - Cultivate a positive and stimulating classroom atmosphere that fosters student engagement, critical thinking, and effective communication. - Encourage students to develop a love for English literature and enhance their writing, reading, and speaking skills. - Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress, concerns, and accomplishments. - Actively engage in school events, co-curricular activities, and extracurricular programs. Qualifications: - Holds a Masters degree in English (M.A. in English). - Possesses a B.Ed. degree with teaching experience, preferably in the ICSE/ISC curriculum. - Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills. - Has a profound understanding of English literature, language, and grammar. - Capable of motivating and inspiring students to reach their academic potential.
