PGT Economics Teacher (Business Studies)

Qualification : MA Economics

Timings : 11:00 AM - 6:30 PM

The PGT Economics Teacher will be responsible for teaching Business Studies and Economics to students of Grades 11 and 12, preparing lesson plans, conducting classes, assessing student progress, and ensuring that the curriculum is effectively delivered to help students achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Business Studies and Economics to senior secondary classes (Grades XI and XII) as per the CBSE Board curriculum.
• Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans and learning resources.
• Conduct classroom activities that promote interactive learning and critical thinking.
• Prepare question papers, assignments, and evaluate student performance through tests and examinations.
• Maintain student attendance, records, and progress reports accurately.
• Identify students’ individual learning needs and support them through remedial classes or extra sessions if required.
• Encourage students to participate in co-curricular activities, competitions, and subject-related events.
• Integrate technology into the teaching-learning process wherever possible.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding students’ academic performance and behavior.
• Participate actively in staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development programs.
• Ensure classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Principal/Management from time to time.

Key Requirements:

• Excellent subject knowledge and passion for teaching.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Proficient in using smart boards, MS Office, and online teaching tools.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,199.12 - ₹35,000.00 per month
