1. Academic Instruction and Curriculum Implementation

• Develop and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the commerce stream, including Accountancy, Business Studies, and Economics, strictly following the latest CBSE curriculum (Classes XI and XII).
• Focus on advanced topics such as Partnership Accounting, Company Accounts, Financial Management, Principles of Management, Macroeconomics, and Indian Economic Development.
• Utilize case studies, financial reports, and current business news to make lessons practical and relevant.
• Employ technology (e.g., spreadsheet software, presentation tools) to enhance the delivery of financial and statistical concepts.

2. Practical Application and Skill Development

• Guide students in maintaining practical files for Accountancy and Business Studies projects, ensuring adherence to CBSE guidelines.
• Conduct practical application-based sessions, such as analyzing balance sheets or drafting business plans.
• Develop students' analytical, decision-making, and financial literacy skills.

3. Assessment and Evaluation

• Design and administer varied assessments (formative and summative) to effectively measure student comprehension and application of commerce concepts.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of student performance and project work.
• Provide targeted feedback to help students overcome specific challenges in numerical subjects like Accountancy and theoretical subjects like Business Studies.
• Prepare students rigorously for the CBSE Board Examinations through regular practice, review of past papers, and setting high standards for answer presentation.

4. Student Guidance and Mentorship

• Provide career counseling and guidance to students interested in pursuing professional courses (CA, CS, CMA, BBA, B.Com, etc.).
• Mentor students to participate in inter-school commerce fests, stock market simulations, and business idea competitions.
• Encourage ethical behavior and corporate social responsibility awareness among students.

5. Departmental and School Contribution

• Collaborate with the Commerce Department team on curriculum planning, resource development, and pedagogical innovation.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with parents regarding student academic progress and future study options.
• Participate actively in school-wide duties, invigilation, and extracurricular activities.
