Job Title: PGT Biology Teacher - CBSE School
Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced and qualified PGT Biology teacher to join our team for higher secondary classes. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Biology to students, developing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Biology to higher secondary students as per CBSE curriculum
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments
- Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and maintain records
- Conduct practical experiments and demonstrations to enhance student understanding
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, academic meetings, and other school events
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Biology or a related field (with Botany and Zoology as majors)
- B.Ed. degree with specialization in Biology/ Natural Science
- 3-5 years of teaching experience in a reputable CBSE-affiliated school
- Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum and syllabus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans, assessments, and teaching materials
