We are looking for pure database migration experts with development Experience, who are hands-on and have a track record of successful heterogeneous database migrations and proven experience on architecture patterns and continuous improvements. Skill & Experience Strong experience in PostgreSQL Prior experience in Migration project Excellent written and oracle communication skills Awareness and Adhere to quality process Multi task and should be able to work under stringent deadlines Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent Certification in PostgreSQL, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure/ MySQL DBA/ or equivalent Strong Analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work independently 3+ years hands on experience and sound knowledge on Oracle , MySQL and PostgreSQL databases 3+ experience and sound knowledge of Google Cloud Experience in migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL database and Oracle to MySQL databases PostgreSQL developer Oracle plsql developer MySQL Google Cloud for cloud SQL Database Administration, Database Migration PostgreSQL Database Admin Experience with heterogenous database migrations from one database engine to another Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL, Oracle & MS SQL databases and its variations among popular databases Converting PL/SQL code in Oracle to PostgreSQL compatible code Strong development experience in PostgreSQL & Oracle PL/SQL Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases (PostgreSQL/ Oracle/mysql) Skilled at optimizing large, complicated PostgreSQL statements and stored procedures, functions, and packages Experience in database design Design and Develop PostgreSQL/ Oracle/MYSQL database systems including statements, data modelling, procedures, functions, views, objects, and indexes High end troubleshooting and testing capabilities Performing schema migration and data migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL Analyze Oracle queries and come up with queries compatible with PostgreSQL Handling Migration tool to migrate the schema and data Validating the data migrated from Oracle to PostgreSQL Working the Developers on changing the queries at application level PostgreSQL Performance Tuning Index management ,partition and system catalogues Database Migration between Oracle to PostgreSQL( Heterogeneous Environment ) Documentation of process, environment and runbooks Hands on experience on migration tools like ora2pg, Google DMS (Data Migration Service) or isphire or strlim Hands on experience on Google DVT (Data Validation Tool) Strong experience on package ,procedure ,triggers, functions and other database objects.
