As a key member of a small, passionate team, your role will be dynamic, hands-on, and essential to the success of both The BackYard and Clayton Hills Golf Course. Responsibilities You’ll be expected to: Jump in wherever needed — from coaching a short game clinic, to checking in members, to setting up a junior event or even mowing greens! Lead and support player development programs, including private lessons, clinics, and informal games or challenges. Help maintain and elevate the presentation of The BackYard and the Clayton Hills Par 3 course — including light grounds maintenance duties such as mowing, light landscaping, and supporting basic turf care when required .Assist with day-to-day operations, including check-ins, tee sheet management, point-of-sale, merchandise sales, and customer service. Contribute to event execution — from member nights to fun competitions and seasonal programs as well as a number of small events and parties Work closely with a small team where initiative, flexibility, and a “whatever it takes” attitude are valued above rigid job descriptions. Energized by coaching, mentoring, and player development. Comfortable creating a learning environment that is both welcoming and innovative. A team player who thrives in a collaborative, evolving workplace. Experience with coaching technology, junior programming, and short game instruction is an asset. Past experience working in landscaping or golf course maintenance is also a strong asset. Compensation $23-26 per hour based on experience. Lesson and clinic revenue opportunities.
