Brief Profile of the Candidate : Collaborate in the discovery and development of enduring revenue solutions for the Municipal Corporation from both current and potential new sources. Assess the viability of issuing municipal bonds for Urban Local Bodies (ULBs). Conduct comprehensive reviews of legal and policy documents to accurately identify revenue streams assigned to local authorities. Analyze the Urban Local Bodies' financial operations, including budgeting, spending patterns, and sources of revenue. Investigate existing revenue generation and collection mechanisms in ULBs and formulate strategic plans to close any gaps and boost revenue collection. Our Ideal Candidate : Brings a minimum of 6 years' experience in municipal finance. Holds a postgraduate degree in Public Policy, MBA, Economics or is a certified CA. Have previous experience in working with Urban Local Bodies / Department of Urban Local Bodies / Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs Have experience in accounting and finance implementation within ULBs Is motivated to make a meaningful contribution to the financial resilience of Urban Local Bodies.
