As a member of our team, you will contribute to the development of custom design solutions for all NPD Power Electronics projects, focusing on Electrical & Firmware requirements for Power supplies, UPS, and Inverters. Your primary responsibilities will include developing specifications, conducting complete Worst Case Analysis (WCA), comparing datasheets, testing products against set specifications, managing Bill of Material (BOM) ownership, and conducting reliability testing. Your role and responsibilities will involve: - Developing custom design solutions for all NPD Power Electronics projects - Defining Electrical & Firmware requirements - Creating Subsystem specifications and selecting components - Conducting Worst Case Analysis, comparing datasheets, and identifying alternate components The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power electronics (BSEE, MSEE) - 5-10 years of industrial experience in Industrial Inverters, Solar Inverters, and UPS systems - Proficiency in Power Supply, UPS Systems, Drives, and Switched-Mode Rectifiers (SMRs) - Knowledge of Digital circuits, Analog circuits, ADCs, DACs, OPamps, microprocessors, microcontrollers, and DSPs - Strong design knowledge and experience with PFC converters, Inverters, Devices, and Gate Drive design - Experience in Magnetics design including Low and High-Frequency Transformers, Inductors, Current Transformers (CTs), and Potential Transformers (PTs) - Understanding of Control Loop design, Gain and Phase Margins, and Stability analysis - Familiarity with Regulatory requirements for Power Supplies and/or UPS products - Experience using software analysis tools such as P-spice, Saber, Matlab, and Mathcad If you are passionate about power electronics, have a solid background in electrical engineering, and enjoy working on challenging projects, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team.,
