Identify options to improve/control constraints Troubleshoot & optimize equipment/processes including heat exchangers, separators, pump/compression units, fractionation units, acid gas treatment units, water treatment units, refrigeration and gas liquefaction units, process safety systems, and process control systems Perform root cause analysis investigations for equipment failures or process upsets Accountable to deliver engineering packages to site for procurement and construction by working closely with Contractor, Business Unit and other engineering disciplines Support Management of Change for facilities modifications including development of scope and completion of engineering deliverables for both routine maintenance and turnaround scopes Identify and progress capacity enhancement, reliability improvement and cost reduction initiatives to improve unit profitability Develop and modify process simulation models using standard process modeling software (i.e., Aspen HYSYS, HTRI, etc.) Provide coaching and mentoring to early career engineers Support commissioning / start-up / turnaround activities at site as needed. About You Skills and Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Chemical/Petroleum or Mechanical engineering from a recognized university Minimum of 5 years of work experience within the oil and gas industry (Upstream, Refining, or Petrochemical) in Process Engineering, Operations Support or Technical Services role(s) Experience and competency in various oil and Gas Industry Process Design and Process Safety standards.
