We’re Hiring: Business Development Manager (Sales) Location: Faridabad, India Company: PET PLAST India Inc. PET PLAST India is a leading manufacturer of high-end PET blowing machines , serving industries across India and beyond. We’re expanding our team and looking for a dynamic, self-driven Business Development Manager to join us in driving growth and innovation. Role Purpose: To generate business by bringing in orders for PET blowing machines and building long-term client relationships. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales and Lead Generation Generate leads through multiple platforms such as YouTube videos, Facebook, WhatsApp status/broadcast lists, IndiaMART, and Google Search . Regularly update all leads in the Sales Nayak CRM system. Follow up on leads through phone calls and in-person meetings . Create and share weekly/fortnightly tour plans with the Managing Director. Spend at least 50% of the month in the field to meet prospective clients. Identify exact client requirements and qualify suspects into prospects. Prepare and send 50–60 quotations per month per sales representative. Monitor and improve the order-to-quotation conversion ratio . Handle negotiation and closure of deals with clients. 2. Order Follow-up and Coordination Submit order forms and ensure smooth coordination from machine dispatch to installation . Manage payment collection and follow up as per the agreed terms and conditions. Maintain strong client relationships by ensuring smooth communication and service coordination. Follow up with clients for pre-form approvals and bottle design approvals . Coordinate for ancillary and utility arrangements as per client orders and provide regular updates. Ensure payment milestones are achieved: Minimum 20% payment at the time of order (typically 40%) 50% at “mechanically ready” stage 70% collection at least 7 days before dispatch Organize product demonstrations for customers (both pre- and post-order). Coordinate internally with the production team for machine readiness and timely delivery. 3. Digital Marketing and Promotion Manage and update Facebook and LinkedIn pages. Keep product listings up-to-date on the company website . Support in creating product videos by sharing content ideas and coordinating uploads. Plan and execute mass email campaigns and mass WhatsApp campaigns to reach potential clients Skills & Attributes: Functional Skills: Knowledge of GST , transit insurance , and transportation rules Strong product and industry understanding Behavioural Skills: Self-motivated & persuasive communicator Customer-centric and responsible Strong negotiation and closure ability Excellent presentation & interpersonal coordination Requirements: Education: Graduate (Sales/Marketing Diploma preferred) Experience: 3–5 years in a similar line (10–12 years overall preferred) Reports to: Managing Director Team Size: 100+ If you have a passion for sales, a drive for results, and the ability to turn opportunities into lasting partnerships, we’d love to meet you.
