Primary Responsibilities Planning: understanding of the requirements, create test plan, test automation feasibility analysis estimation, schedule and plan Test preparation: analysis & understanding of scenarios and application flows, test scenarios and cases preparation for new functionality, test data preparation and manual execution of test cases to understand the flows Test execution: execution new functional test cases for the current release, execution of manual and automated regression pack, log defects and retest fixed defects Test scripting & integration: test script development as per BlackRock framework, dry run of the automation scripts, Integrate automation with CI/CD pipeline, one round of full run of automated scripts User documentation: create/update user manuals Understanding and supporting existing systems, and resolve operations issues while working with other engineering staff located across the globe Being curious and eager to learn new things, with a healthy disrespect for the status quo Willing to embrace work outside of your comfort zone, and open to mentorship from others; you make mistakes, but learn from them Being passionate about technology, with personal ownership for the work you do Team Leadership Position the team for leadership in emerging areas such as AI, personalization, and dynamic digital experiences on web and mobile apps Lead a team of QA developers Provide technical leadership and career growth for the engineers Build talent pipeline with external and internal candidates Build an engineering network across BlackRock Project Leadership Ownership mindset Agile product development practices Collaborate with global collaborators, product managers, designers, and other engineering leaders in the organization Deliver complex digital projects on time and with high level of quality Essential Skills / Experience Is a must: 6+years working experience in software testing or QA Proven ability to assure the quality of the developed software and code You have an analytical mind-set and can grasp complex concepts easily You have experience with at least one of the following frameworks: Playwright, Cypress or Puppeteer You have experience in JavaScript and TypeScript You have experience with CI/CD environments You are interested in extending your testing know-how You are fluent in English, You have experience with Jira/Azure Boards, Confluence, Git Strong collaboration, communication, and time management abilities.
