The Sales Head role is pivotal in leading and managing the sales team to achieve revenue targets, develop effective sales strategies, and foster strong client relationships. As the Sales Head, you will provide leadership, guidance, and direction to drive business growth and align sales efforts with organizational objectives. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing sales strategies to attain company sales goals, mentoring and managing both Inside and Field sales teams, and maintaining a daily cadence to engage with customers. You will collaborate with the marketing and product teams, leveraging pre-sales resources and marketing collaterals to generate opportunities and align sales efforts with product offerings and campaigns. Building and nurturing relationships with key clients and stakeholders is essential to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will be expected to demonstrate cloud technical expertise through certifications, staying updated with industry knowledge, and ensuring the team meets similar expectations. In the initial months, you will report your daily plan and end-of-day actions. This onsite role requires adherence to office hours from 9 am to 6 pm and the demonstration of integrity, trust, and personal responsibility in all interactions. Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred), with over 10 years of experience in IT sales. You should have 2-3 years of relevant experience in AWS cloud sales, with certifications in AWS cloud fundamentals being advantageous. Previous experience in handling the South region and possessing established client relationships in Bangalore/Chennai are preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a sales leadership role, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and exhibit strong communication skills, both written and oral.
