You will be responsible for defining the overall hardware architecture of embedded systems based on technical complexity and requirements. Your role will involve possessing comprehensive knowledge of the hardware design flow and providing technical guidance to the team. Your responsibilities will include requirements gathering, architecture and high-level block diagram design, interface requirements & design aspects of Architecture, scalable, upgradable & test-based architecture, incorporating FMEA & Risk, PCB layout verification with consideration for EMI/EMC issues, design validation and integration, component selection, prototype development and debugging, as well as board and system-level testing. It will be crucial for you to ensure adherence to hardware design standards and methodologies, document design specifications and implementation details. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership and mentorship to hardware engineers and PCB layout engineers. To qualify for this role, you should have a B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or a related field (preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of experience in embedded hardware development. Your required skills will include hands-on experience with processors such as TI, NXP, Qualcomm, expertise in power supply design (SMPS, DC/DC converters, AC to DC converters, Battery Management Systems), proficiency in communication protocols (I2C, SPI, CAN, UART, JTAG, CSI, LVDS, MIPI, RS-232, RS-485, USB, Ethernet), familiarity with wireless and peripheral technologies, experience with debugging/lab tools, knowledge of memory technologies, proven ability to manage multiple projects, and skills in schematic and PCB design tools. Overall, your role as an Embedded Hardware Architect will involve significant technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to drive successful hardware design and implementation for embedded systems.,
