As an Embedded Software Engineer at our company located in Khopat, Thane, 400601, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and testing high-quality embedded software. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the robustness and security of firmware and communication devices, as well as collaborating on the design of future product revisions. You will be expected to understand and finalize project requirements and specifications for embedded systems, develop and rigorously test efficient embedded software solutions, and ensure the security and robustness of firmware and communication devices. Additionally, you will work with cross-functional teams to contribute to the design of future product versions and troubleshoot and optimize embedded systems using communication protocols such as UART, I2C, and SPI. The ideal candidate for this position should possess strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on optimization and troubleshooting. You should be able to work collaboratively within a team environment to design and develop high-quality firmware, and be willing to tackle both software and hardware challenges to improve system performance. To be considered for this role, you must have a BE/BTech (EXTC), MSc (Electronics), or M.Tech (Embedded Systems) educational background with 1-8 years of experience in firmware development. You should have a strong knowledge of 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers, proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems, familiarity with communication protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, and experience with protocols like IEC, DLMS, MODBUS. Experience with interfacing peripherals, version control systems, energy meters, and embedded system components is a plus. Additionally, a deep understanding of electronics and knowledge of PIC microcontrollers would be beneficial.
