As a Team Leader for the Building Advisor & Services team, your primary responsibility will be to manage the teams providing services for Digital Building customers, Schneider Electric country teams, and service partners. This includes overseeing various services such as Building Advisor deployment, recurring services, and global quality assurance for deployments done by multiple hubs. The role is based in Bangalore with a hybrid working model. Your activities will involve stakeholder management across countries, category management, account teams, LOB, and external customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for team management to ensure that the team is motivated, trained, and equipped to effectively deliver services with adequate coverage. Tracking and driving continuous improvement in quality and efficiency through tools, processes, and training materials will also be part of your role. The main KPIs that you will be focused on include customer satisfaction (internal and external), meeting service, deployment, and internal KPIs such as on-time delivery, quality, efficiency, utilization, and cost recovery. Staff satisfaction, retention, and skill level improvement are also key metrics to monitor. Continuous improvement in all key areas of delivery is essential for success in this role. In terms of qualifications, you are required to have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics. A Diploma or Degree in Management would be considered an added advantage. To excel in this role, you should have a proven track record in customer services, experience in leading large-scale building automation projects, and the ability to set and track KPIs while identifying opportunities for improvement. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, especially in a global environment, are crucial. Experience in working with global customers and managing teams in multiple countries will be beneficial. Ideally, you should have 8 to 10 years of industry experience, with a minimum of 3 years as a people manager. You will be responsible for inspecting received routine samples and distributing them to different sections of the laboratory based on the type of analysis. It is crucial to communicate with the shift in charge regarding any abnormal samples or if routine samples are not received as per schedule. Adherence to standard test methods, work instructions, and compliance with Quality system procedures is essential. Confirming test results using validation techniques before reporting is necessary to ensure the reliability of the results. Any exceptions or deviations in test results should be detected and reported promptly. In emergency situations, you may need to perform on-spot mitigation under the guidance of the shift in charge. Effective sample management, including safe disposal of leftover samples, is part of your responsibilities. Timely entry of test results in LIMS and ensuring the availability of analytical gears by cleaning and maintaining them for the next experiment are crucial tasks. Maintaining good housekeeping in the laboratory is also a key aspect of the role. Data management involves proper recording of results in the raw data book, LIMS, process register, and individual raw data book for recording work carried out. Compliance with HSEF procedures/practices, environmental regulations, and safety norms while handling chemicals and tools is mandatory. Ensuring safe working conditions and reporting any unsafe acts or conditions to lab management for correction is part of your duties. Self-initiative for trainings to enhance competencies and participation in external trainings and events as advised by the section head are encouraged. Timely execution of assigned tasks, handling erratic changes in plans, and working with multiple interfaces such as business, customers, operations, and HSEF are important competencies required for the role. Prioritization of assigned activities and proficiency in sample management are essential skills. Regarding education, a B.Sc. in Chemistry or Diploma in Chemical Engineering is required, along with 3 to 7 years of overall experience. Industry preference includes O&G, Refinery, Petrochemical, Polyester, Polymer, Manufacturing, and Chemical (Pharma Industry candidates will not be preferred). Skills such as knowledge of test procedures, sample handling, analysis, process stream samples, and effective communication with the shift in charge for any abnormal or off-spec results are necessary for this position.,
