As a Lead Analyst-Performance Testing at CGI, you will be responsible for assessing and optimizing the performance, scalability, and reliability of software products, especially in cloud-native and microservices environments. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify performance bottlenecks, developing and executing performance tests, and providing actionable insights to enhance application responsiveness and stability. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests for applications, APIs, and microservices on cloud platforms. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand architecture and system flows, and identify performance bottlenecks. - Create and maintain performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling. - Analyze system performance using tools such as Grafana, Kibana, and Dynatrace. - Build and enhance performance test frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. - Validate application performance under various loads and environments. - Provide actionable insights to improve application performance and stability. - Contribute to sprint planning and product release cycles with a performance-first mindset. - Document performance test strategies, scenarios, and execution results. - Collaborate on performance tuning at all layers of the application. Required qualifications: - 8+ years of experience in performance engineering and testing. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as C#, JavaScript, or C. - Hands-on experience in SQL Server for performance testing. - Experience in testing distributed cloud applications and cloud-native architecture. - Exposure to microservices performance testing and service-level validation. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation of performance tests. - Familiarity with Agile environments and DevOps practices. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Experience in performance optimization and working closely with development and infrastructure teams.
