Performance Test Lead - Manager

In the role of Performance Leads at PwC, you will be responsible for both strategic and tactical aspects related to improving performance standards and best practices across applications. You will collaborate with Application, Delivery, and Infrastructure Architects to provide recommendations and fine-tune opportunities for autoscaling. Your role will involve coaching and mentoring the team on leveraging monitoring tools for bottleneck analysis. **Key Responsibilities:** - Partner with Application, Delivery, and Infrastructure Architects to collaborate on recommendations and fine-tuning opportunities, and provide input into autoscaling recommendations. - Drive and coordinate the implementation and execution of performance standards and best practices across applications. - Coach and mentor the team on leveraging monitoring tools to perform bottleneck analysis. - Plan performance testing with project/product teams as a core element of pre-production testing. - Analyze bottlenecks using performance monitoring tools and provide recommendations. - Work closely with the DevOps team for load emulation. - Collaborate with project/product teams to incorporate performance testing as a practice. - Manage vendor teams to ensure smooth performance testing and execution. **Qualifications Required:** - Over 6-7 years of experience and proficiency with performance tools such as JMeter, Blazemeter, and LoadRunner. - Over 3 years of hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Data Dog, App insights, and Splunk for bottleneck analysis and fine-tuning recommendations. - Experience with performance mobile testing tools like Headspin is a plus.
