Performance Test Lead - Manager

As a Performance Lead at PwC, you will play a strategic role by partnering with Application, Delivery, and Infrastructure Architects to collaborate on recommendations and fine-tuning opportunities and provide input into autoscaling recommendations. Your responsibilities will include driving and coordinating the implementation and execution of performance standards and best practices across applications. You will also coach and mentor the team on leveraging monitoring tools to perform bottleneck analysis. With over 6-7 years of experience and proficiency in performance tools such as JMeter, Blazemeter, and Load Runner, you will be well-equipped to lead the performance testing efforts. Additionally, having over 3 years of hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Data Dog, App insights, and Splunk will enable you to assist the teams in bottleneck analysis and fine-tuning recommendations. Experience with performance mobile testing tools like Headspin would be a valuable asset in this role. In this position, you will be responsible for planning performance testing with project/product teams as a core element of pre-production testing. You will leverage performance monitoring tools to analyze bottlenecks, provide recommendations, and work closely with the DevOps team for load emulation. Collaboration with project/product teams to incorporate performance testing as a practice and day-to-day management of vendor teams to ensure smooth performance testing and execution are also key aspects of this role.
