Role Overview: As a Performance Engineering Lead at Wipro, you will be responsible for performance testing various software applications and technologies across different business segments at Apple IS&T. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong programming and communication skills to identify performance tuning opportunities and work on cutting-edge software. Key Responsibilities: - Define, develop, and apply performance/scalability benchmarks. - Collaborate in cross-functional teams to analyze and enhance system performance and scalability. - Use profiling tools for identifying performance bottlenecks and conducting root cause analysis. - Conduct experiments to evaluate performance impacts of system changes. - Plan and execute performance tests using automated environments and analyze results. - Participate in architecture and design reviews to ensure quality in cross-team engineering efforts. Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of hands-on software testing experience. - Strong experience in performance testing of SAP applications. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, and C++. - Experience with performance testing tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, SoapUI, and Postman. - Knowledge of service-oriented architecture, RESTful APIs, and performance-tuning SQL queries. - Extensive hands-on experience with JVM tuning techniques. - Experience with performance monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and AppDynamics. - Ability to efficiently use profiling tools to identify bottlenecks. - Familiarity with JMeter, LoadRunner, Dynatrace, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies. - Expertise in SAP BTP platform optimization and components like API management and SAP Integration Suite. - Understanding of BTP technologies like Smart Data Integration (SDI) and SCP iOS SDK mobile app performance testing. - Proficient in relational and in-memory databases. - Code management experience using Git.
