Maropost is currently seeking a Front-End Tech Lead who is a bold thinker and a skilled expert in Vue.js and modern JavaScript. This role involves leading the architecture, development, and delivery of high-performance web applications, mentoring engineers, collaborating with design and backend teams, and establishing best practices for scalable front-end solutions. If you thrive in a fast-paced, user-focused environment and enjoy leading by example, Maropost invites you to join their team. **Responsibilities include:** **Core Technical Responsibilities:** - Leading scalable front-end development using Vue.js, including Vuex, Vue Router, and Composition API - Defining component structure, modular code, and state management best practices - Integrating RESTful APIs for seamless front-end/back-end communication **JavaScript Expertise:** - Applying deep knowledge of ES6+ features, async programming, and modularization - Mentoring the team on advanced JS concepts and effective Vue.js usage **UI/UX Collaboration:** - Collaborating with designers to build responsive, accessible, and pixel-perfect interfaces - Ensuring consistent implementation of design systems and style guides **Testing & Code Quality:** - Implementing unit, integration, and E2E tests using Jest, Cypress, and Vue Test Utils - Conducting detailed code reviews to ensure performance, security, and maintainability **Engineering Leadership & Communication:** - Leading and mentoring a high-performing front-end team in a collaborative culture - Providing technical guidance and promoting innovation across the team - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and timelines - Ensuring timely delivery of quality releases with proper prioritization - Continuously refining tools, workflows, and architecture for efficiency - Introducing modern technologies and best practices to enhance development - Fostering open team communication and cross-departmental transparency - Presenting technical updates clearly to both tech and non-tech stakeholders **Requirements:** - 7+ years of front-end development experience with a degree in CS or related field - Expertise in Vue.js/React.js, with hands-on experience in Nuxt.js/Next.js - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles - Experience with UI frameworks like Vuetify or MUI - Skills in agile environments, Git, and modern front-end build tools - Familiarity with SSR, static site generation, and performance optimization - Strong testing background with Jest, Cypress, and state management tools (Vuex/Redux) - Bonus: Knowledge of GraphQL, REST APIs, accessibility standards, and performance debugging tools Maropost is looking for individuals who embody their values of being customer obsessed, acting with extreme urgency, striving for excellence, and being resourceful.
