The ideal candidate for this position should possess strong written (email) and oral communication skills, along with experience working in an Application Development team. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a good working knowledge of Microsoft tools like Outlook, Excel, and Word. Being action-oriented and having the ability to drive activities independently is essential for this role. While retail experience is desirable, it is not a mandatory requirement. In terms of critical skills, you should have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on Development experience in PeopleSoft 9.0 or higher. Working Experience in People Tools 8.x or above is a must, along with hands-on development project experience in Human Capital Management (HCM) modules. You must also have experience working with process scheduler, content and structure, permission, and roles. Developing integration programs from scratch should be within your skill set, as well as creating and modifying Application Engine/SQR/PeopleCode, designing fluid & classic pages, Tiles, BI Publisher Reports, PS Query, and Component Interface. Advanced Oracle SQL query writing skills are required, along with experience working with Peoplesoft on Oracle Database and Unix/Linux Operating Systems. Knowledge in Unix Scripting language will be an added advantage. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are crucial for this role. You should have an excellent understanding of Peoplesoft Architecture and be responsible for gathering requirements from business, functional, and technical aspects, along with designing, coding, and unit testing. You will provide support during Integration Testing, Performance Testing, and User acceptance testing, while complying with project management methodology and requirements. Working with cross-functional teams across different geographies and time zones is also part of the job responsibilities. Role & responsibilities We are looking for a technically sound Oracle PeopleSoft Technical Consultant with foundational knowledge of PeopleSoft tools and customization. The ideal candidate will assist in developing and maintaining custom solutions for PeopleSoft HCM or FSCM modules. Key Responsibilities: Support development and customization of PeopleSoft components (Application Engine, SQR, PeopleCode, BI Publisher, etc.) Work on technical upgrades, enhancements, and issue resolution.
