Job Description

Are you ready to grow your HR career in a dynamic, supportive, and fun environment?

We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused People & Capability Coordinator to join our dedicated team of HR professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure across the full spectrum of HR—from employment relations and performance management to union engagement, culture, and capability development.

Te Āheinga - The Opportunity

In this role, you’ll be a central part of a high-performing People Operations team, providing vital coordination and administrative support that keeps everything running smoothly. You’ll be involved in a wide range of HR activities—from managing employment changes and compliance to supporting performance, culture, and change initiatives. It’s a hands-on role where your work directly contributes to creating a great employee experience.

You’ll be surrounded by a team that’s not only passionate about what they do but also genuinely supportive and collaborative. We back each other, celebrate wins, and tackle challenges together—with a good dose of humour along the way. You’ll have a strong sense of ownership, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities without losing sight of what matters. Your organisational skills will be top-notch, and your customer-focused mindset will help ensure a seamless experience for our people.

Ideally, you’ll have at least two years’ experience in an HR coordinator or administrator role, along with a relevant tertiary qualification (or be working towards one). Most importantly, you’ll be someone who’s eager to learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully to a team that works hard, supports each other, and knows how to have fun.

Ngā painga mōhou - What we Offer

You will be part of a high-performing, inclusive team that genuinely supports each other, working in an environment that encourages growth, learning, and innovation. We can promise hands-on experience across a wide range of HR functions plus an opportunity to make a real impact on the employee experience and organisational culture.
