Job Title: Server & Network Engineer with Virtualization Expertise Location: Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient professional who can manage server and network infrastructure with a strong grasp of virtualization technologies, while also supporting inside sales activities for IT products and services. This hybrid role demands both technical depth and customer-facing communication skills to ensure seamless IT operations and effective client engagement. Technical Responsibilities (Server & Network Engineer): 🖥️ Server & Virtualization Management Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers (physical and virtual) Manage virtual environments using VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent platforms Monitor server health, apply updates, and ensure system reliability Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies Implement and test backup and disaster recovery solutions 🌐 Network Administration Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues Ensure network security through access controls and firewall policies Support LAN/WAN infrastructure and optimize network traffic 🎓 Qualifications & Skills Education Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science Certifications VMware VCP, CCNA, MCSA, or relevant sales certifications (preferred) Experience 2–3 years in server/network administration Technical Skills Virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), Windows/Linux servers, networking fundamentals Soft Skills Customer-oriented mindset, multitasking ability, documentation skills, team collaboration 🌐 Preferred Experience Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) IT product knowledge (servers, storage, networking, software licensing) 📩 How to Apply Interested candidates may send their resume and cover letter to sarfaraz@pentacle.in .
