Job Title: Pediatric Dentist (Pedodontist)

Location: Adyar, Velachery, Mahindra city, Mogappair, Perungudi , IIT Madras

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Dentist (Pedodontist) to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will specialize in the oral health of children from infancy through their teenage years. They will be skilled in creating a positive and friendly environment, diagnosing and treating dental issues specific to children, and providing preventive dental care and education to both children and their parents.

Qualifications:

• MDS in ( Pediatric Dentist)
• BDS experienced in Pediatric Dentist.
• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatments for infants, children, and adolescents.
• Provide preventive care including fluoride treatments, sealants, cleanings, and patient education.
• Manage dental anxiety and behaviour in children using child-friendly techniques and sedation if necessary.
• Administer local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, or conscious sedation when required.
• Treat common pediatric dental issues such as cavities, dental trauma, and developmental anomalies.
• Educate parents and children on proper oral hygiene and diet habits.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with legal and ethical dental practice standards.
• Work collaboratively with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff.
• Stay updated on latest pediatric dentistry techniques and technologies.
