As the subject matter expert in mathematics, you will leverage your in-depth knowledge to devise innovative approaches for mathematics learning and content creation in school and higher education settings. Your role will involve guiding the team in content development, teaching, and empowering educators. You will play a crucial part in evolving methodologies and contributing to education research projects. Additionally, you will be tasked with designing various levels of assessments for higher-order thinking and competitive exams. Your responsibilities will include spearheading innovations in content development, creating and finalizing student learning materials using experiential learning methods, and devising JEE mains and advance level questions for grades 9-12. Teaching mathematics effectively to inspire students and enhance their mathematical abilities will be a key aspect of your role. You will also lead education research projects, gather and manage relevant data, and facilitate discussions and activities to support research in mathematics education. Furthermore, you will be responsible for developing novel math pedagogies, learning experiences, assessments, evaluation tools, and determining the effectiveness of these approaches. Creating math-based programs for teachers, school management, and educational functionaries will also be part of your duties. Qualifications: - Master's degree in Mathematics, Education degree (B.Ed or any teacher training degree); Ph.D. in Mathematics with M.Ed preferred - Proficiency in pedagogy and content development - Minimum 5 years of experience coaching for competitive exams like IIT JEE - Experience in designing assessments for competitive exams and mock tests - 10-15 years of teaching experience in mathematics at senior high school level and beyond - Strong leadership, interpersonal, and observation skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Kannada - Basic computer and internet skills - Willingness to travel as needed This is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance and Provident Fund.
