Job Title: Physical Education (PT) Teacher (Female Preferred) – Basketball Coach Location: Prabhushree English Medium School, Malibalia, Puri, Odisha Job Type: Full-Time Experience Required: Minimum 2–4 years of experience in school-level sports training or coaching (CBSE school experience preferred) Qualification: B.P.Ed/M.P.Ed or equivalent in Physical Education from a recognized university; specialized certification or experience in Basketball Coaching Job Summary: Prabhushree English Medium School is looking for a dynamic and energetic female PT Teacher who is passionate about sports and physical fitness, with a special focus on basketball coaching . The candidate will be responsible for teaching physical education to students across classes and leading basketball coaching sessions for school teams. Key Responsibilities: Plan and conduct engaging physical education classes for students of all age groups. Provide specialized coaching in basketball , including skill development, fitness training, and team preparation. Identify and train potential students for inter-school and district-level basketball competitions. Organize and manage sports events, intra-school competitions, fitness sessions, and annual sports day. Promote physical activity, health, and wellness across the school. Maintain discipline, safety, and active participation during all physical activities. Inspect and ensure proper use and maintenance of sports equipment. Collaborate with the academic and co-curricular teams for holistic development programs. Required Skills: Strong command of physical education techniques and sports science principles. Proven track record in basketball coaching (preferably at the school or district level). Good communication and motivational skills, especially with children. Ability to plan fitness programs tailored to different age groups. Responsible, patient, and disciplined in approach. Basic knowledge of first aid and student safety measures during physical activities.
