NDT Engineer No. of positions:15 Location: Chennai Budget: 10-11 lacs Engineer - Third Party, NDT O&I Offshore Blades * Describe the Department NDT Department is part of Manufacturing Launch and Execution under PE Blades o organization. This department is responsible for ensuring NDT Evaluation and Quality of Towers and Blades which is produced in various factories. * Responsibilities Adherence to Vestas Safety Culture. • Adhere to Vestas values.• On time delivery as per SLA. • Zero Errors and Customer complaints. • Follow agreed NDT Process flow with zero deviation. • Create/Update NC for all deviations, track & close NC as per agreed SLA. • Train the Evaluators on new Blade model and get them certified. • Initiate QIP / SIP • Conduct Weekly Meetings with factory. • Participation in CIM Case Evaluation. • Active participation in Weekly meeting with Stake holders. • Performing TPR as per Process Flow. • Participate in Internal / External Audit. • Provide input for PII Revisions * Qualifications Bachelor's in Engineering in any of the following disciplines - Mechanical / Manufacturing / Production / Industrial/Electrical Or any other Equivalent engineering degree. Experience: 4 to 8 years of working in... Heavy Engineering industries, Oil & Gas, Wind, Automobile, Aeronautical Industries and CADD Services / Consultancy. Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in NDT (UT and VT) for Bachelor's in EngineeringNDT UT Level 2 certified - ASNT / PCN / Equivalent * Competencies Required good knowledge on Blades manufacturing process Ability to setup & use NDT (UT) equipment's and relevant analysis softwarePerform Hand & Machine UT Scan Proficient in Microsoft Office for reporting day to day developments Ability to work under pressure & get things done with quality Ability in being a good team player. Possess good analytical skills with methodological approach Fluent in English (Oral & Written)
