Produce accurate and detailed electrical & Instrumentation drawings, including wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, and panel schedules, in accordance with industry standards and project requirements. Revise and update drawings as needed based on feedback and field adjustments. Assist with the preparation of technical documents and construction drawings for tendering and project execution. Maintain a thorough understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices. Familiar with electrical equipment and design documents like: Single line diagrams, distribution panel layout, Cable and conduit schedule, Electrical schematics Lighting design PLC Control panel-I/O schematics. Junction box layouts Electrical Heat trace design Electrical Bill of Materials Electrical Codes, Area classification. Must complete a high-quality self-check of own work with efficiency. Shall follow internal QC processes. Reporting progress of work assignment to immediate supervisor. Understands the project schedule and budget requirements. Communicate with internal peers and project team and required to answer questions regarding deliverables. Coordinating with Canada lead offices as per project requirements. Be able to perform Material Take-Offs with CAD tool and excel. Actively participate in the design and provide input to the design team throughout the design process. Ensuring that quality procedures are implemented and maintained. Provide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns, to Lead Designer. Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies. Develop expertise and stay up to date of developments in Drafting skills. Support the company’s approach to sustainability. Be able to communicate in a multi-disciplinary project team. Identify improvements (where possible) to enhance WSP service to clients. Complete accurate timesheets by set deadline. Key Competencies Autocad Drafting, 3D Modeling, REVIT/PDMS, Navisworks. Knowledge in Microstation is desirable Good understanding of electrical principles, power distribution, and control systems. Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under tight deadlines. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including NEC, API, and IEEE To contribute to growing Mining Infrastructure Teams with CAD related works You will also be computer literate with a reasonable proficiency in MS office suite Coordinating his/her work with other members of the Team. Work with minimal supervision or on an individual basis. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines. Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in Electrical 2D/3D Drafting, Designing and Modeling in Process industry Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical discipline. Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills. Strong attention to the detail. Familiar with working in a LEAN environment. Experience with International projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in English
