Key Responsibilities : Ensure all designs comply with relevant rules, regulations, codes, and industry standards. Co-ordinate with Team to create and refine layout drawings and 3D models aligned with project schedules. Interaction with client and obtain the necessary input for layout preparation. Participate in design reviews with client team and ensure timely resolution of corrective actions from reviews. Design and critical layouts, including: Plot Plans and General Arrangement Drawings. Pressure and Non-Pressure Part Layouts. Gallery Layouts and Equipment Loads/Locations Plinth Layouts for Civil input. Duct Layouts for Air and Flue Gas Systems. Critical and Non-Critical Piping Routes and It’s support concept Conduct Access, Lifting, and Maintenance studies for various equipment. Review vendor-provided equipment arrangement drawings and verify integration into plant layouts. Oversee and validate plant layouts using tools such as E3D, PDMS and NAVISWORKS. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Proven experience in plant layout design, equipment arrangement, and piping systems. Proficiency in PDMS, E3D, and NAVISWORKS platforms. Strong project management skills, including time scheduling and team leadership. In-depth knowledge of industry standards and good engineering practices. Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Layout modelling preparation of Thermal power plants (desirable) and similar.
