As a Stator Lead Design Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the upgrades and new build generators. Collaboration with the Project Engineering Manager, Lead Project, electrical & mechanical calculation Engineers is essential to gather all necessary information to meet the functional requirements of the targeted solution. Your responsibilities will include managing general design engineering for nuclear generators, ensuring timely delivery of engineering part lists and documentation, supporting improvement projects with suppliers, participating in new product development activities, applying engineering processes, participating in technical meetings, resolving site or factory issues, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, managing subcontracted design tasks, ensuring compliance with nuclear safety requirements, and promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing within the team. To be considered for this role, you should have a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, good knowledge of CAD tools such as CATIA V5, familiarity with PPLM and PDM tools, proficiency in MS Office applications, expertise in rotating electrical machines, training in Nuclear Safety Culture, experience in Design engineering with CAD tools, and strong communication skills in English. You will be responsible for establishing lighting performance targets for various programs and developing delivery plans in line with program cost and budgets. Your role will involve closely working with supplier product development teams and design studio teams to ensure feasibility and issue resolution. As the overall project manager for the lighting system, you will track AIMS & Concern status, provide analyses and resolutions on faults, and communicate effectively with key stakeholders. In addition to managing program sourcing strategies and supporting milestone approvals, you will lead the design & release of lighting system commodities using CAD / PDM tools. You will serve as the primary interface between various teams to ensure quality, on-time, and on-cost delivery of systems and components, while ensuring compatibility with interfacing systems. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mech / Prod / Auto) with 4-7 years of experience in lighting systems in an OEM or tier 1 lighting supplier. Hands-on experience in designing and releasing lighting systems, familiarity with emerging technologies, expertise in design & PDM tools, and knowledge of auto electronics systems are essential. Experience in cost estimation, lighting optics, regulatory requirements, and issue resolution process leadership is also required. Strong project management skills and proficiency in MS project are key qualifications for this position.,
