Site Engineer / Civil Site Executive - Retail Fitouts Title : Site Engineer / Civil Site Executive Location : Bengaluru, Delhi (must be ok to travel across project sites pan-India) Experience : 36 years in civil/interior execution for retail or commercial fit-outs OVERVIEW We are looking for a hands-on Site Engineer / Civil Site Executive to take ownership of on-site execution for retail store fit-outs. This role is pivotal to maintaining execution speed, quality, and coordination across multiple retail project sites. You will directly manage site readiness, civil works, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring each store is delivered on time and as per brand specifications, and will report to the Senior Project Manager. Key responsibilities: Lead end-to-end civil execution at store sites including masonry, plastering, flooring, painting, wet works, and ceiling preparation. Ensure site readiness before fixture installation and other parallel works begin. Own execution timelines: track progress daily to meet aggressive project schedules. Supervise labor and vendors on site, ensuring alignment with drawings, BOQs, and quality benchmarks. Coordinate actively with the design team for drawing clarifications, and ensure correct implementation on-site. Liaise with fixture, MEP, and signage teams for seamless sequencing and handovers. Conduct daily quality checks across all stages of civil/interior works. Prepare daily progress reports, including site photos, measurements, and key updates. Flag execution risks or delays immediately to the Senior Project Manager, along with possible mitigations. Manage multiple store projects simultaneously across cities as required. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering/Architecture/Interior Design. Proficiency in Microsoft Project is an added bonus. Must have a strong hold on the English language, spoken and written. Demonstrated ability to drive execution under tight timelines across multiple locations. Strong knowledge of retail fit-out detailing, quality standards, BOQ implementation, and sequencing of works. Comfortable managing various contractors and resolving on-site issues in real-time. Willingness to travel extensively across project sites pan-India. Proficient in MS Excel, site documentation, and basic drawing tools (AutoCAD/PDF markup).
