About the Role We are seeking a highly competent and results-driven Quality Lead with proven expertise in automotive quality management and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a leader who can identify gaps, streamline processes, drive efficiency, and uphold world-class quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process optimization, root cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products and services. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee quality assurance processes across automotive projects, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory frameworks (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, etc.). Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, and other methodologies to enhance process efficiency and product quality. Analyze quality performance metrics (KPIs), identify trends, and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA). Collaborate with project teams to resolve quality issues and embed preventive measures in processes. Develop and maintain process documentation, checklists, and control plans to standardize operations. Conduct internal audits and process capability studies. Facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and ensure timely closure of action plans. Provide training and mentoring to quality teams and project stakeholders on process excellence and quality tools. Ensure customer satisfaction and complaint resolution through structured problem-solving and transparent communication. Stay updated with emerging automotive quality trends, tools, and technologies to maintain a competitive advantage. Requirements Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Industrial, or related field). 7+ years of experience in Quality Management / Continuous Improvement within the automotive or service industry. Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and other automotive quality standards. Proven expertise in process improvement frameworks Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred). Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in resolving complex quality issues. Excellent skills in data-driven decision making, problem-solving, and process mapping. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Proficiency in quality tools and software (e.g., Minitab, SAP/QMS, or equivalent). Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and a passion for operational excellence.

Knowledge of Rotary machines inspection details Experience in EIL preferred approved Cos 1. Implementing and Controlling of Quality parameters. 2. Daily/Weekly and monthly Report Record Preparation and attending quality review meetings. 3. Preparation of daily Inspection Reports like Stage Wise Inspection of All fabrication activities, Visual Examination, Nozzle Marking, Machining, Fit Up Examination, Examination After Head Forming, Dimensional Inspection, Final Inspection & Testing 4. New Product Trail, Inspection of New Model, Indoor & outdoor Testing. 5. QMS ISO 9001 6. RCA, CAPA, PDCA CYCLE, TPM & ISO Audit 7. Timely Escalation and closer of issue & analysis (why issue occur & past record) 8. Overall responsibility for testing or inspection of item according to approved drawing, procedures, applicable codes & specifications. 9. To prepare & maintain all documents & procedures in guidance for ASME/ISO audit. 10. Welder Qualification (Verification of WPS, PQR & WPQ). 11. Knowledge of NDT like DPT, MPI, UT, RT etc. 12. Knowledge of ASME SEC- IX, V, II, III & VII, EN & IS Standard. 13. Responsible for maintaining quality according to QAP. 14. Responsible for all stage inspections. 15. Responsible for verification of Hydro/pneumatic test and maintain reports & records. 16. Responsible to inspect brought out or inward material. 17. To visit the supplier when needed or while inspection is needed at vendor end across India. 18. To perform Red bin analysis daily 19. Review and validate nonconforming material reports throughout the process (incoming, in-process and final). 20. To plan schedule and arrange conducting of internal & external audits. 21. Management & Calibration of Instruments etc. 22. Final inspection or review of final inspection documents. Candidate will be responsible for the operation and improvement of the quality management process in compliance with Automotive SPICE Ver. 3.1 (a software development process assessment model for the automotive industry) or IATF-16949 (Quality Management System for the Automotive Industry). Build and maintain the quality management system together with design engineers. Implement standardization and continuous improvement of internal quality processes (such as planning and practicing the PDCA cycle). Implement the deployment and compliance management of CSR (Customer Specific Requirements). Implement quality improvement activities along with design engineers (such as quality KPIs, etc.,). Plan and implement training programs and awareness activities for design engineers to promote quality consciousness. IATF internal auditor certification is preferred but not mandatory Experience in Automotive SPICE assessment is needed Execute the quality management process together with design engineers. The tasks include deploying requirement specifications to design engineers, planning tests for deliverables and creating evidence for test results. The quality management scope includes MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow models , so skills in creating these models are required Role & responsibilities Candidates with experience in all or any of the following skills: Experience in quality management operations based on Automotive SPIVE Ver. 3.1 or IATF-16949 or ISO-9001 •Skills in creating quality related documents, preparing procedures, and writing reports (using Excel/Word, etc.). Experience in creating models using MATLAB / Simulink and Stateflow.
