Your new role will be challenging and future-oriented. As a Field Service engineer for control projects related to Gas turbines, you will play a crucial role in implementing control systems on-site. Your responsibilities will include the installation and commissioning of control systems and related instrumentation for gas turbines on both offshore platforms and onshore sites. This role may also require you to travel to sites and offshore platforms for extended periods. To excel in this role, you are required to have a bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control/Electrical Engineering, along with 3-5 years of experience as a Commissioning & Troubleshooting engineer in the power plant/Oil & Gas sector. You should possess good knowledge of field instrumentation such as PT, FT, Control valve, Vibration, etc. Experience in executing I&C contracts for power plants or Oil exploration platforms is essential, and familiarity with Gas Turbine concepts is preferred. Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs, PCS7 Systems, and prior experience with these systems will be advantageous. You will also be responsible for leading the customer interface on-site, making previous similar experience desirable. Understanding of site management procedures, including safety requirements like LOTO/PTW, is a necessity. Ensuring compliance with company/customer HSE policies during all activities is mandatory.
