As a Technical Support Engineer at Allot, you will be responsible for providing support to Communication Service Providers clients in the APAC & EMEA region. You will have the opportunity to work with the Global Customer Services team of a leading Network Intelligence and Cybersecurity solutions provider for Tier1 global telcos. Your main responsibilities will include: - Handling 1st and 2nd level support cases professionally and independently via CRM, phone, and email. - Providing excellent, dedicated, and proactive support service. - Performing deep problem investigation into system logs and behavior. - Offering technical guidance and solutions to customers and partners, including problem reproduction and lab simulations. - Collaborating with higher tier support teams and traveling to customer sites as required. - Maintaining direct contact with key customers in the APAC & EMEA region to ensure customer satisfaction and success. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - 4-5 years of experience in relevant positions. - Strong knowledge of Linux system operation & troubleshooting. - Excellent troubleshooting techniques to analyze and validate issues. - Hands-on working knowledge of TCP/IP networks, packet-sniffing, traffic generation, and lab simulations. - Detailed understanding of Cyber Security threats, attack types, Firewalls, Malware, content/URL filtering, and DNS Security. - Experience in customer care using CRM systems. - Ideally, experience with Microservices, Containers, and Kubernetes. - Graduate/Diploma in Computer Science/Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Advantages for this role include: - Knowledge in database SQL querying and database administration. - Hands-on experience with networking LAN/WAN environments - Routers, Switches, Firewalls, NMS, etc. - Working knowledge of Radius, Diameter, DHCP, 3GPP, PCEF, PCRF, understanding protocol flow, and sniffing. - Working knowledge of Security and Analytics deployed on Cloud Platforms such as Openstack, K8s, Azure, etc. - Experience working directly with ISPs, mobile operators, cable operators. Possess sound understanding of essential elements of Systems engineering including how to convey requirements to development and QA teams . Familiarity with NFV standards and ecosystem is an added advantage . Excellent inter-personal and leadership skills . Outstanding verbal and written communication skills . Role & responsibilities Strong understanding of LTE and 3G network architecture and 3GPP specification, experience with Circuit and Packet Core architecture Hands-on experience in design and implementation of networking protocol software. Experienced in developing distributed and scalable telecom solutions and platforms Experince on working in IMS, Protocol stack SIP. Expert level knowledge in one or more protocols - S1AP, S11,S6a, S1-MME, S3/S4, Gx, SGi, S5/S8 Preferred past experience in SGSN, GGSN, MME, SGW, and PGW. Knowledge of Policy and Charging elements within the packet core; PCEF, PCRF, PAS,OFCS, OCS Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking, IP routing, familiar with TCP, UDP, RTP, SCTP, RADIUS and Diameter protocols Experience in troubleshooting LTE network performance issues and service quality issues Must have Strong C and C++ programming skills on Linux/Unix and experience in developing multi-threaded applications.
