Job Profile Title: PCB Assembler Qualifications: Diploma in electronics engineering Experience: 3-5 years of experience in PCB assembly Key Responsibilities: Assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) by hand Perform both manual soldering (through-hole and surface mount) of components to the PCB. Accurately place components on the PCB according to the specifications and design drawings. Inspect and test assembled PCBs for defects such as soldering issues, misplaced components, and circuit continuity using visual inspection tools and testing equipment. Ensure all assembled PCBs meet quality standards and specifications, including functionality, safety, and aesthetic requirements. Identify and troubleshoot issues with the assembled PCBs, collaborating with engineers and other team members to resolve problems. Maintain accurate records of production runs, including quality checks, rework, and any issues that arise. Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment, following all health and safety guidelines. Work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure timely and efficient production. Skillset: Strong understanding of electrical/electronic component. Proficient in soldering techniques (hand soldering, wave soldering and reflow soldering). Familiar with electronic components, PCB layout and the general assembly process. Ability to read and interpret circuit board designs, schematics and technical drawings. Basic knowledge of testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and continuity testers
