We are looking for an experienced Payroll & Compliance to manage end-to-end payroll operations and ensure statutory compliance across our PAN India workforce. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in payroll processing, HR MIS reporting, statutory obligations, audit requirements, and employee exit formalities. Key Responsibilities: Payroll & Compliance Management Manage monthly payroll processing for PAN India employees. Prepare and validate payroll inputs and compliance payments Handle PF transfers, withdrawals, UAN activation, and KYC updates. Ensure timely disbursement of Full & Final settlements and related documentation. Maintain and reconcile payroll registers, ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance. MIS & Documentation: Prepare HRMIS and Payroll MIS within defined timelines. Compile audit data (actuarial valuation) for internal and external auditors. Issue appointment letters, annexures, and F&F memos. Prepare Performance Management System (PMS) data and annual bonus calculations with annexures. Statutory & Internal Compliance: Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, TDS, and other statutory obligations. Support internal audits and closure of audit-related action points. Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to internal policies and legal standards. Coordination & Process Improvement: Collaborate with the accounts team to ensure timely salary disbursements. Execute Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) across teams. Support R&R and incentive program communications. Maintain accurate attendance and leave management data to support payroll. Employee Grievance Handling: Address day-to-day queries and grievances from employees, ex-employees, and vendors related to payroll, compliance, and exit formalities. Desired Candidate Profile: Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, HR, or related field. 4-8 years of experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance. Proficient in MS Excel and payroll software/tools. Sound knowledge of payroll laws and statutory compliance requirements. Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills. About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented payroll professional to manage end-to-end payroll operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, statutory compliance, and seamless coordination with HR and Finance functions. This role demands strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of payroll laws, and the ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality. Key Responsibilities: Manage complete payroll processing using payroll software/systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Verify and reconcile payroll inputs such as salary revisions, bonuses, allowances, deductions, and incentives. Oversee time & attendance systems, ensuring accurate tracking of leaves, overtime, and absences. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax (PT), and Income Tax (IT). Stay updated with minimum wage laws and implement compliant, flexible pay structures. Maintain accurate employee records including attendance, leave balances, and benefits data. Address and resolve employee payroll queries promptly. Coordinate with HR and Finance for payroll data integration and reporting. Prepare payroll-related MIS and management reports. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information. Continuously identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency. Required Qualifications & Skills: Masters degree in Business Administration. 5 - 8 years of proven payroll experience, preferably in a large organization. Strong knowledge of Indian payroll laws, statutory compliance, and wage regulations. Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, ADP, Paychex) and MS Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential data.
